Ready for a new world order?

It's a rather sad morning today because of the reports of the brave young girl passing away in Singapore hospital. Perhaps she didn't want to come back to this world. But she does leave us all with a choice. Are we going to be continually held hold hostage to the rampaging callousness of this world or we are taking a stand and uniting towards making it better and safer for life to prosper holistically?? While her leaving us is truly heart-breaking, we ought to make sure that it does not let the fire die out. The efforts to restore sanity has to gain even more momentum so that the insanity and its perpetrators are kept at bay. The country awaits justice. And are we ready to restore a new world order??

My favorite novel — "Atlas Shrugged" by Ayn Rand.

“Atlas shrugged” is one of the most revered work of fiction; a masterpiece and a widely celebrated effort of “Ayn Rand” that came out in 1957 i.e., almost 14 years after her previous best “The Fountainhead”. Ayn Rand (1905-1982) was born and educated in Russia, however, later moved to the United States in 1926 where she took up a job as a screenwriter in Hollywood. There was no looking back since then and she continued to step up the ladder and ended her journey of life as a venerated Russian-American novelist, screenwriter, playwright and a philosopher. The philosophical aspect has been a subject of study for years (controversial and full of criticism too) and very rightly so because of the profound insights she has offered to the entire world. Nandini Srikar and her Indie Music Album Beete Pal

How often would it happen that a singer of Hariharan’s repute hears you singing a few lines and asks you to sing more? It sounds like a thing of a beautiful dream; however, that’s exactly what happened with Nandini Srikar at a gathering during Pune festival. And it was quite dramatic as well. It so happened that the power went off during the event and people being aware that Hariharan was around requested him to sing. He didn’t sing but Nandini started singing one of his compositions. When the lights came on, Hariharan made her sing a few more songs. He was so impressed that he advised her to take up a career in singing. He was also ready to help her taking the first step in this direction. Needless to say this particular incident turned out to be a life changing event for Nandini Srikar.
