Law of Attraction
I have been contemplating on maintaining a daily/weekly handwritten journal lately and in my attempt to do so I wrote the following on 07/03/2009 (01.50 AM). I also plan to put the ones I would like to share on my blogs. Perhaps it may turn out to be a good way of being regular in writing. So here it goes:
"For That Healing Touch, Keep A Daily journal"-- was the title of today's speaking tree in TOI's N.Delhi edition. It emphasized on the importance of penning down our day to day thoughts. This, according to the article, helped in the spiritual evolution of human beings. Not going further into the details, I would like to come to the point of much talked about law of attraction/process of creation/mechanism of manifestation; whatever name given to it by the spiritual gurus. I had actually been thinking about writing my diary capturing my prominent thoughts and happenings in day to day life. And while reading the above mentioned piece, I again thought about getting a diary to start with. I even planned to pick up one whenever I would be visiting a stationary shop next.
Now guess what! within hours of finishing that article, there was a knock on the door. It was the India today subscription vendor carrying last two edditions of the magazine and this diary. It came at a time when I had almost lost hope of getting any further copies of the subscription as it had been a few weeks I had not received any. Not to mention that the subscription idea turned out to be a little sad because of the poor service of the vendors in my area. They have not been even able to send my my assured gifts yet and you bet I would be more happy not thinking about it.
Anyways, I received the consignment and wondered how sincere my thought about getting a diary would be. It just took an hour or so to have it manifested and that too without any real immediate effort. Whew!!! "the secret" formulae at work--A great reaffirmer of the power of our thoughts. That is why they say that the "universal intelligence" is always at work and will bring us what we have called forth--nothing more, nothing less.
